The temperature transmitter MTP302i-SIL-K has been designed for the operation of intrinsically safe thermocouple circuit installed in the Ex area. The TC input is equipped with a Pt100 sensor for the cold-junction compensation (CJC). The thermocouple signal is electrically isolated. The TC transmitter must be intrinsically safe supplied by a two-channel repeater power supply. The two power supply circuits must be electrically separated. The device can be installed in zone 1 with the “i” (IEC/EN 60079-11) protection type.
