Level indicators

The NivoPress NT-100 is a two wire, microprocessor controlled level transmitter/indicator which measures the pressure difference between the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid head above the sensor and the actual atmospheric pressure. Changes in pressure are converted into a 4-20 mA output signal.

Application
The NivoPress NT hydrostatic level transmitter/indicator provides a simple and highly reliable solution for the continuous monitoring of liquid levels and liquid masses. Its robust design, high overload capability and wide temperature range make the application of the NIVOPRESS NT possible on a large scale from food processing up to heavy industry.

One of the most versatile technologies is the Vibrating Fork, offering significant benefits over other technologies. Nivelco now offers a revamped and extended range of the popular Nivoswitch, including models with short fork sections featuring increased vibration immunity.

Application
Applications under arduous conditions are possible due to the unique signal processing incorporated in the Nivoswitch, combining frequency and amplitude sensing for an unparalleled performance. Extreme application conditions such as vibrating vessels, turbulent liquid surfaces as well as light granules are routine tasks for the "intelligent" NivoSwitch.

Our 1" resolution model (C3975-XXXX) is offered with a field-repairable sensor strip. This allows for permanent mounting of the level switch assembly while permitting in-field replacement of the flexible sensor strip via a simple screw-in assembly. This is very desirable where limited overhead space or permanent tank closure are a consideration.

Applications
Operation
The indicator consists of a probe, a cable with laser-marked graduations, and a cable reel. The hub of the cable reel contains batteries, electronics, a bright LED lamp, and a beeper.
The operator lowers the probe into the standpipe or well. When the probe contacts the surface of the water, the LED illuminates and the beeper sounds. The operator then reads the depth-to-water measurement from graduations on the cable.
