Product Description

The HydroSense 3410 Oil In Water Monitor has been superseded by the Hydrosense 4410-OCM.

The HydroSense 3410 Oil In Water Monitor is a highly accurate oil in water monitor that can measure low concentrations of free and soluble oils in water. The HydroSense 3410 Oil In Water Monitor uses a UV fluorescence technique which specifically targets the aromatic component of the oil particles. After a quick on-site calibration, the signal given off by this aromatic ring provides an indication of the oil in water concentration down to mg/L (ppm).

A slip stream approach directs a continuous sample flow through the HydroSense unit and back into the process stream. While it passes through the sample cell, filtered UV light is targeted in the water. The soluble and emulsified oils in the water will excite from this light energy and fluoresce light energy back out of the water at a signature wavelength. The intensity of light energy at this wavelength is measured to provide an indication of the ppm concentration.

Combining many unique design features into a small package, makes the HydroSense 3410 Oil In Water Monitor an ideal solution applications where accurately monitoring the concentrations of oil in water is essential.
